To add your htmlsig signature to Mail on your iPhone or iPad, open your signature link in Safari, copy the signature, then paste it into Settings > Apps > Mail > Signature.
Step 1: Open your signature on your iPhone or iPad
Every signature has its own link, shown at the top of its page in htmlsig. To get it onto your phone, either log in to htmlsig in Safari on your device and open the signature from the Signatures page, or send yourself the link: on the Signatures page, click the mail icon next to the signature to email a link to the address on that signature.
Step 2: Copy your signature
- Open the signature link in Safari.
- Tap Open in New Tab to show the signature on its own.
- Touch and hold on the signature, tap Select All, then tap Copy.
Step 3: Paste it into Mail settings
- Open the Settings app and go to Apps > Mail > Signature (on iOS 17 and earlier, it's Mail > Signature).
- Choose All Accounts or Per Account, then delete any existing text such as "Sent from my iPhone".
- Touch and hold in the signature field and tap Paste.
If your signature loses its formatting right after you paste it, shake your device and tap Undo to restore it. See shake to undo on iPhone and iPad for details.
Open Mail and start a new email to check that your signature appears.
